Las Vegas!!!!

Than and I spent our 5th Anniversary weekend in Las Vegas. Reagan stayed with my parents for the weekend and ended up with the stomach flu and by the 2nd day she had given it to my mom too. I got a part of the bug too and felt lousy most of the day on Sunday but despite feeling horrible that my parents were having to deal with throw up and nasty diapers and my nausea (no I'm not pregnant) we still had an AWESOME time!!!
We left Friday afternoon around 1:30 and got to Vegas around 8:00. We hit quite a bit of traffic, probably due to the busy weekend. Than and I had never been to Vegas so we were super excited when we pulled into Vegas and saw all the buildings and lights. We stayed at the Encore/Wynn and honestly think it is the nicest hotel on the strip. SUPER fancy. Our room was fabulous and had a great view of the fabulous pools and the strip.
We were quite overwhelmed at first. Where do we start? So much to do and so little time. We went through most hotels and malls and walked a ton. We ate at some great little restaurants as well as the food court a few times (that is what you do when your on a budget!). We stayed out super late for us and enjoyed each others company and conversations. I think we both had forgotten how easy going places is without a little one. :0) We were able to see the show Le Reve and we also caught some other free shows at other hotels.
Here are tons of pictures of our trip!!!

We saw the show Le Reve at the Wynn. Very cool show! Pictures were not allowed during the show so we only got a few shots.

We found the Pawn shop that is from "Pawn Stars" on TV. We saw a few of the workers on the show. We were only able to be in the shop for about 20 minutes because they needed to clear out the shop to start filming the show.

Than with Chumley.

We did a little gambling. Not much luck!

Than in the background with Micheal Jackson and Elvis- pretty weak impersonators!

Hoover Dam

Fremont street- This street is what they call "Old Vegas". It is a walking street covered by a canopy of lights. Pretty cool. They do a 15 minute light show off and on through out the night. Lots of little touristy shops down the street a long with some crazy people!

On our way out of town we stopped at a HUGE Bass Pro shop. Pretty sure Than was on cloud nine!
